On the macroscopic level of the evolution of life forms, there will always be a point in time that a certain life form will develop spontaneously genetic varieties that will not reproduce themselves. These occurrences of a species are genetic Spin-Off Patterns (SOP's). That is to say, these genetic varieties do not have the intention to reproduce themselves and thus are opposing their own evolutionary existence in a direct way. Indirectly these genetic properties do reproduce themselves by means of helping siblings to survive and reproduce. They always have certain genes in common which stay in the gene pool through an indirect way. Two examples of today's culturally generated genetic spin off patterns of the human being, are:
Young people nowadays can go to university to study a part of the real world. Afterwards, they are supposed to help society develop further by using their knowledge. A lot of intellectuals are so obsessed with their knowledge acquisition, that this becomes the goal in their life: in stead of having genetic offspring's, they devote their lives to mentally and verbally reproduce their thoughts and cherish their knowledge, which is a mirror of their own consciousness. Herewith they create new ways for human society to survive on the whole. Thus better conditions are created for 'Intellectuality genes' to survive among a population. Or is it only a 'virtual' reproduction, similar to what Richard Dawkins calls 'Memes': cultural replication of thought patterns?
Homosexuals and lesbians are biologically not directed towards the other gender
for love. Although they can reproduce, if they want to, male homosexuals are
generally not oriented towards having children. This is normally a heterosexual
habit. Through thousands of years of socio-cultural evolution homosexuals have
played an important role in the effort of any society to try to understand god,
mysticism, spirituality, controlling reality et cetera. A lot of shaman priests,
medicine men, so-called wizards and witches, monks, popes, artists, musicians
and actors, scientists and politicians etc were homosexuals. This mental-genetic
vector probably came into existence among the social grouping processes in the
age of the Neanderthals. In sociobiological terms, homosexuals did not have
the time consuming worries of raising children directly, although they did act
as 'uncles' or 'aunts'; indirectly they helped propagating their genetic qualities
by supporting their heterosexual brothers and sisters. But, because they did
not see reproduction as the ultimate goal of life, they went looking for other
purposes. They explored mysticism, spirituality and other 'higher order' purposes
for life like god-awareness (transcendent changes). Others tried to change social
events (normally heterosexual happenings) by becoming group leaders (immanent
changes). Homosexuals explored the boundaries of life and experimented with
new ways of living and believing; they are typical neo-philics. Because heterosexuality
is the norm, biologically speaking, homosexuals have always tried to, keep their
love variety a secret up till now.
Through hundreds of years of secrecy, they have developed a way of communicating
to each other. Normally heterosexuals are not aware of the hidden messages.
These ways of communicating are thus transmitted mentally (visually, verbally
etc), not genetically. Thus homosexuals have created a socio-cybernetic process
on top of genetic al processes: cultural factors nowadays influence genetic
mechanisms. This I call mental-genetic feedback loops.
These homosexuals were and still are the people that have had a lot of impact
on the course of cultural and religious evolution of mankind on the whole. Because
of their non-reproduction oriented strive to understand and manipulate life,
they have introduced new ways of thinking among heterosexuals. Heterosexuals
are most of the time so busy raising their offspring that they do not have time
to explore other realities. They just accept new knowledge from others, not
knowing the origin of thought generation. Nowadays, the ways of conceiving reality
are thus propagated through human society by radio and television media, that
a lot of heterosexual people accept them as the ultimate goal in life, for example:
individualism, self-realisation, introspection, self consciousness, extravaganza,
modeling reality through acting. So nowadays, in the Western cultures, many
heterosexuals unconsciously become would-be homosexuals
in a mental way. They are conditioned to have saccadic
pre-thoughts: they are so indoctrinated in desiring to free themselves of any
chain to daily standards, by trying to be different.
This egocentric desire to escape any burden, including the
typical heterosexual married way-of-life, makes them not wanting
to reproduce themselves. Some seek freedom in a spiritual way,
that is: they try to transcend normal life by searching for
higher goals in stead of instinctive breeding. This is an
important bio-cultural mechanism that should be used in the
future development of life: it is a reproduction inhibiting
mechanism, by which a human society can regulate, in an ethical
way, its reproduction rate. In this way we can save nature from
human over-population disasters and thus secure the future of our
own species too.
