During the evolution of a culture in approximately generation-cycles of 25 years, certain genetic features are valued more in one generation than in the previous age-cohort, for example:
In one time-cohort this may be regarded as a sign of peacefulness, but in the next generation as weakness. In their values, generations succeed each other as the water ripples on a pond: appreciation of an indented lower jaw, followed by appraisal for a pronounced, extended jaw in the next generation, succeeded by a micrognath jaw in the third generation.
People who are born with the right genetic features in the
right socio-cultural time period will be more successful in life
and, in general, have more chances to reproduce themselves.
Thus, socio-cultural mentalities and attitudes (e.g. towards peacefulness versus
aggressive urge to survive) determines genetic development of a large population
in accordance to the Dialectical Principle of Hegel. Or, as the Buddhists say:
one of the smaller Wheels of Life. To escape this vicious circle, you have to
learn how to develop your Karma.
The valuation of these features spread over a population from parents to their offspring, but:
Some features of human behaviour are, of course, pure faculties of the mind,
so called 'brain software'. But during hundred-thousands of years certain mental
properties have crystallized into a DNA-structure. This happened through a -partially
chance driven- process of genetic internalization.
Take, for example Problem Solving; this process has two motors:
Ad 1. Only those creatures equipped with the mental faculties to solve problems of adapting and surviving, evolve into the future, but others die out.
Ad 2. Those creatures that show proof of useful mental faculties may find a mating partner. Or they may only want to mate with a reproduction partner who has desirable features too. Through a built-in random biological process of dividing chromosomes-pairs over different reproductive cells, you get chance effects in combinations of certain features and capacities. But the more creatures with certain desirable features look for each other to mate with, the higher the chance that their children obtain a combination of genes that produce a specific wanted behaviour.
Thus genetic internalization of mental and social faculties will take place more rapidly if there is a positive cybernetic feedback loop between the 2 above mentioned evolutionary motors. That is to say: it still takes 30 to 100 generations through natural breeding methods. In the future, artificial breeding through BioTechnology and Gene Manipulation, will speed up this process exponentially! Beauty will thrive together with wealth and abundance. Intelligent humanimals will create living beings with intelligence to the power of two! The gap between the Haves and HaveNots will become exponentially wider. The more overpopulated our planet becomes, the more chance there will speciate a small elite of rich, intelligent and beautiful persons away from a large base of poor people competing for a piece of earth to live on. Natural woods will get used up by millions of people trying to survive.
During some era's of human history, the original Primitives (Intrinsic Eugenetic Vectors) dominated the choice of reproduction partner. But during other time periods, cultural, religious or economical rules have been determining who marries whom.
